Great ad, but that was a lot of money at that time. I was looking at 69 Z-28's for $1,800-$2,500 at the time and stretched to buy a mint '70 RS Z-28 for $2,9000. Today '69 Z-28's are typically in the $20K-$30K range and Yenko Chevelles are still 4 times as much. Guess it's all relative.

The '502' area code is in the Louisville, KY area I believe. I know that a Butternut Yellow, 4speed, no v/t, Yenko Chevelle was sold out of V.V.Cooke in Louisville. I believe that Belair62 has it now [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

Yep pretty sure that is my car...neat...you guys amaze me.Car was bought by an employee of VV Cook and was sold to Mick Price.It went thru a couple more hands before I got my grubby paws on it !
