I don't believe that it's Byron. Could it be Milan, Michigan ?

Well, I took the liberty of posting the picture over at the Pure Stock/Stock Appearing site, where a bunch of old racers hang out, and within a few hours I got this response:

Rob,

I know that old timing tower anywhere! That is Maple Grove Raceway in Reading Pennsylvania (Home of the Keystone Nationals) And I would say from the photo around the late 1970's early 1980's . The Timing Tower was removed around 1987 and a new one was built on the other side and corporate suites put in around that time as well. I raced there many times with the Bee' (4 Northeast Division 1 Bracket Finals and many Mopar Only events) Real nice facility in a beautiful part of the country.

The cars look like old Modified Eliminator class cars which are now part of Competition Eliminator.

Hope it Helps!

Andy
