That Frost Green COPO Chevelle is Fred Nolans. He is from here in St. Charles Il.
I've seen this website earlier.Kind of odd to see creme of the crop cars on a Webpage for a fake battery top? Spend 50K+ on the car, then throw in a Sears DieHard and cover it with a Fake R-59 Battery top! |

It's better to have a Die-Hard with a topper on it than have the "real deal" puke all over your engine compartment

I just purchased my first topper, really I did. I just wanted to be 'in' with the crowd.

So what's the verdict, seriously, on these battery toppers? Has anyone here ever had a car judged with a battery topper?

It would never pass the jugding at the Camaro Nationals at Carlisle any easier than a steering wheel cover or Kmart seat covers. I am not saying it is a bad thing for the long run, but it would not pass 7000+ point serious judging...BKH

Rob, makes a good point. I have not had much luck w/the repro batteries either as they never seem to be able to hold a charge. The battery topper gives a nice look for the local cruise and then at a more serious show, I swap in the repro battery for more of a correct look.
