Default Re: Trying to locate a COPO Chevelle

Owners not titling cars is very common. I hate to admit this but years ago my father in law used to buy 67-69 Camaro's ultra cheap and pull the 12 bolts or BB's or whatever then sell them for the same money or more than he paid. Dozens of them. He is responsible for ruining alot of matching number cars. Luckily he isn't really into 67-69 Camaro's anymore except for all the parts he has stashed. I am convinced cars go through alot more abuse in the northeast. Its not that easy to find a matching number car around here compared to other places. Don't hold what my father in law used to do against me but you have to check every aspect of a car. He is only one of a few that buys cars, doesn't title them, then sell them again and you would never know by doing database checks.
