Another updated today.
The second traction bar is all done, now just waiting on a small mountain of parts to come from Kennedy American so I can start putting the rear end of the car back together. Hopefully it all ships next week. We’re at 120 days of a 120 day back order. So any day hopefully the leaf springs will be shipping. Spent some time today outside messing with the car in the garage. All the spark plug wires are run to the mag. Now I just have to run the switched ground wire inside the car so I can shut it off. Most of the day was spent on the Dominators. Getting 2 sideways Holleys to do what you want them to do in unison without binding or hitting other stuff is not the easiest thing. But I made good progress after taking my time and figuring out how to get the carb linkages to clear. Unfortunately the pivot on the manifold binds so it needs to move forward about an inch. I’ll measure it tomorrow and work on it next week. If the weather is nice tomorrow I’ll pull the rear outside and get it pressure washed so next week I can get it painted and ready to put back in the car. I also got the fuel lines run, but need to make a small bracket next week to support the Y. Not a big deal. 108 day until I pull out of the driveway in this thing heading to South Bend. A lot to do before that. Thanks for reading.
