I am planning to install an L88 style thermostat housing on our 70 L78 TH400 Nova...need to confirm proper hose to use. I found this image of an L88 installed in a 1968 Camaro...looks like what I need.
Did a little research and it may be a 1968 Z28 upper hose, but I'm not sure. Any help is appreciated. -wilma

This upper hose, on my 1968 Z/28 was bought at GM years ago. If you need me to measure, I can do that...Joe

joe...
Your hose looks a little different from the hose in the photo I posted...But it may very well work. Please send me measurements and the part number on the hose. Many thanks for reaching out. Tom

The hose on the Z/28 is a 3892650. It's 18" from the farthest points. The Z/28 also uses a 21" core. I Looked at my 69 ss396 & it has a 23" core but it's a gooseneck car because of a/c, so that probably wouldn't work either....Joe
