Default 1969 456 Gears

I have a set of 456 gears that are dated for a 69 car. The pinion has two small chips on the teeth. They do not appear to be on the wear pattern. Would they still be safe to use. I just pulled them out of a rearend. Thanks, Larry

These came out of a Camaro rearend that had been used. Has the Eaton posi also. They were removed to modify the rearend to fit a tri five Chevy.
