Does anyone know of a way to cross part AC-Delco part numbers to their applications? I have 5 temp switchs with the following numbers on them.. AC255M, AC265M, AC264M and AC270M. I have 2 Delco boxes with the part numbers 6490970 and 6489287 but can't be sure any of the switches came from these boxes because everything was loose in a old tote of parts. Does anyone have an old Delco parts book? Thanks for any help, Troy.

I don't have the parts books you were seeking but the ac264m is the water temp sender for my 70 Eldorado.

Lots of times if you had the GM part #, the parts manual would ALSO give you the Delco #
