Default Vintage Bill S photo - 66 Tanker body lift

I was down at Mom's yesterday perusing her photo albums and misc. pictures of the 67. When I went to store them with my other pictures at home I ran across this gem in my stash.

Bill can share the details but I believe this was the evening we lifted the body off your 66 big tank car? Guessing around 1986-ish?

Lots of familair faces in this picture and a few I don't know or not sure of the the names of...

Left to right:

Mike T, Ed W?, Jack B, Dad, Rob K, Mike W, ???, Bob K, Bill S, Me, ???

11 people to remove the body? I think we normally used no more than 6. I am thinking maybe this was more about drinking beer and having a great day with the boys rather than having an adequate number of people to remove the body. These were the best of time with the best of friends. Forever memories.

Wow, is that great. in 1986 I had been in Texas for five years and was doing my best to blow up motors in my '67 big block. I succeeded twice, neither one the original motor. I wish I was there with you guys working on that '66.

----Jake,,, I believe you are mostly correct, and ! actually have nothing to add. Can't remember the name of the guy at the far right. Jack Baer was the only guy there that didn't help, except for the beer drinking!
----Of course there was beer there. I believe we had to run out for more as a matter of fact. What's a body yank without refreshments? One of my favorite pics. This kind of mayhem used to happen once a month, if not more often!
