Here are mine, which I think are correct: #9420555 7/8" long, RBW flange head with a dimple.

I don't see any "washer" in the AIM, just the bolt and the nut/clip.

I agree with Kevin's picture of what the bolts and clips should look like, but I know a Legends Judge that looks for the floating washer on the bolt.

It's possible the bolt may have to be longer than 7/8 inch when the washer is used in this application... ???

What part number is in the AIM? And does it say "SCREW" or "SCREW ASM" ?

When a separate washer was attached to a bolt (not removable) it is typically described in the AIM as a "SCREW ASM" - for "assembly" denoting that the part consists of more than one component.

As to length, I could be wrong, but I believe when a washer was attached to a bolt the nominal measurement of bolt length was taken from the base of the washer to the end of the bolt, not from the base of the bolt head to the end of the bolt.

69 Camaro AIM UPC 3 page A4 says: 5 - 9420555 SCREW

So no "floating" washer then

Seems like I have seen this both ways on original cars. Charley just acquired a 9300 mile time capsule, early LOS built Z. Would be interested to see a pic of them. Just went downstairs and checked my car, which I have owned for 51 years. They have captured washers on all four. I am 99% certain that is what I took off; but there is no way to know whether a PO swapped them when putting shocks on it early on.
