This handsome 1969 Jaguar E-Type Series II Roadster with 32,212 original miles is a wonderful example. This example retains its original VIN Tag, original Data Tag, original Chassis VIN stamp, original sheet metal, original exterior color, original interior color, original engine and original transmission. This example is also accompanied with the original Jaguar Heritage Certificate, original owner's manuals and original Passport to Service booklet with warranty card. The Jaguar E-Type or the Jaguar XKE for the North American market is a British front mid-engined sports car that was manufactured by Jaguar Cars Ltd from 1961 to 1974. It is rumored that on its debut on March 15th, 1961 Enzo Ferrari called it “the most beautiful car ever made.” Its sleek appearance, advanced technologies, high performance and competitive pricing established it as an icon. The E-Types claimed 150 miles per hour top speed, 0-60 mph acceleration, largely unitary body construction, front and rear independent suspension with disc brakes, mounted inboard at the rear and rack-and-pinion steering spurred industry-wide changes. For model year 1969, a total of 18,809 units were produced which included 8,628 OTS- roadsters. As the original Jaguar Heritage Certificate #34857 that was issued on October 31st, 2011 indicates this example was manufactured on November 18th, 1968 as a Jaguar E-type Series II 4.2 litre OTS (open two-seater) left hand drive. It left the factory in Coventry, England with a Willow Green exterior and Suede Green interior. The original distributor was British Leyland, New York and the date of dispatch was December 4th, 1968. As the original Passport to Service booklet and warranty card indicate it was sold by Gruet Motor Car Company on June 19th, 1969 to Roy M. Adreon who lived in St. Louis, Missouri. As the handwritten and signed letter by Roy M. Alreon indicates, “The car has been pampered for all the 32 years I have owned it and driven only 29,22x miles. It has always been kept in a heated garage and driven with great care while enjoying its characteristics and capabilities. I can and do certify that the mileage shown on the odometer is correct and reflects all the miles the car has been driven. I have retained ownership and maintained the car all though the years due to a love affair only a car loving fanatic could understand.” Roy sold the car in February of 2001 to St. Louis Collector Mark Hyman of Hyman LTD. During Mark's time of ownership he decided to repaint this survivor as the paint was starting to show its age. During its second owner's tenure with Mark Hyman, a repaint of the car was completed to factory original specifications in 2005. The repaint was well documented with pictures showing the incredible condition of the car. As the clean Indiana title indicates it was purchased on September 3rd, 2011 by Scott and Debra Holley who live in Fortville, Indiana. The car remains in its original condition today with only one repaint and a recent convertible top restoration to factory original specifications. The car retains all of its original panels, fasteners, parts and pieces. It even has the original radio, the original windshield with the factory “break in procedure” sticker still intact. The original steering wheel is still like new without any restoration since new. It's been shown at multiple Jaguar Clubs of North America events including official Concours d' Elegance shows. It was judged and scored a 1000 of a possible 1000 points. The judging sheets and photos of the awards are included. Scott and Debra Holley decided to sell this wonderful car after 14 years of ownership but it was never advertised. It was purchased directly by MS CLASSIC CARS on October 15th, 2025. MS CLASSIC CARS invested a total of 4,811.10 in service and detail which is documented with an invoice. December of 2025 is the first time it's been listed for sale.

The exterior of this '69 Jaguar E-Type is absolutely gorgeous with its stylish design and handsome color. In 2005, the factory original paint was stripped in preparation of a new paint job. This car retains 100% of its factory original sheet metal throughout. The bonnet, doors and trunk lid close very nicely. It was refinished in its factory original color of Willow Green which dresses it well. The high show quality paint was recently detailed to a brilliant finish by the team at MS CLASSIC CARS. In 2011, it was outfitted with a new black convertible top that was refinished to factory original specifications. The top fits very nicely and is easy to operate. It still retains the factory original glass including the windshield which still has the factory original “break in procedure” sticker intact. Everything on the exterior is factory original and in excellent condition. Some of these pieces include the window stainless trim, antenna, driver's side mirror, hood trim, headlight bezels, Lucas headlights, Lucas marker light lenses, door handles, front and rear bumpers. The car sits on the original factory 15” chrome wire wheels. The wheels are mounted to new Michelin XVS-P 185-HR15 tires that were added by the team at MS CLASSIC CARS.

The interior of this '69 Jaguar E-Type is truly remarkable with its luxurious upholstery and elegant color. The factory original Suede Green interior is in excellent condition throughout especially considering its 56 years old. This car was treated with the best of care which is evident with the condition of the interior. The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in Suede Green leather along with a color-coordinated center console, door panels and carpeting. Interior appointments include a Motorola radio, heater, locking glovebox, passenger-side grab handle and black rubber floor mats. The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths black face instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 32,212 original miles. The radio turns on and illuminates but doesn't operate correctly. The clock doesn't operate at all. Photos of the original wiring behind the center gauge cluster, original decals and paint assembly markings are shown in the gallery. From the information gathered it's believed the trunk compartment retains its original factory paint. It also appears the tan paneling and trunk mat are original. It's equipped with a full size matching spare wheel that's mounted to a Michelin 185 HR15 XV8 tire with 2008 date code. It's also equipped with a jack kit which includes the leather bag, jack, hammer and wheel removal tool.

The engine compartment of this'69 Jaguar E-Type is in beautiful condition throughout. During the repaint process in 2005 the engine was removed and the cradle was repainted in its original color of Willow Green. The car is powered by the original factory matching-numbers 4.2L DOHC Inline 6- cylinder which is factory equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors. This engine was factory rated at 246 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque. With only 30,000 original miles and excellent maintenance history the engine didn't require to be rebuilt. While the engine was out of the car the parts were cleaned and polished. During the repaint process in 2005 the original exhaust system was replaced with a Bell Exhaust system which is high-quality stainless steel known for fitment, durability and enhancing the iconic engine sound. The power is delivered to the original factory matching-numbers 4-speed manual transmission. Also, with the original low miles and excellent maintenance history the transmission didn't require to be rebuilt. While the transmission was out of the car it was cleaned. The transmission still retains original factory assembly paint markings. The power is transferred through a limited-slip differential. It retains many correct parts throughout and is powered by a black Lucas battery.

The undercarriage of this '69 Jaguar E-Type is very original and clean throughout. From the information gathered the underneath of this car has never been restored. The floors have the original factory texture paint which was applied for durability. The factory chassis is monocoque construction with a front subframe. It's equipped with a fully independent front and rear suspension. It's also equipped with four-wheel disc brakes.

The 1969 Jaguar E-Type embodies automotive beauty, blending race-bred engineering with stunning design, remaining a highly desirable classic for collectors and driving enthusiasts.
