A12. It was only available for sale for less than half a year, hence the designation “1969 ˝ 1969 Road Runner with the 440 Six Barrel (A12 package)
The 1969 Road Runner 440 Six-Barrel (A12 package) was a formidable muscle car featuring a 440 cubic-inch V8 with three two-barrel carburetors, conservatively rated at 390 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque, powered by a 10.5:1 compression ratio. Key specs included a 4.32" bore and 3.75" stroke, a distinctive black fiberglass lift-off hood, heavy-duty Dana 60 rear axle with 4.10 gears, and performance-focused components for raw street power
