Default Black on Black '65 Corvette Coupe, #s 365hp 327

Sharp car with a good looking deck stamp on its original 365hp mill.

not a bad price. I know the 65' don't get the love of other year C2s but this car looks like a great driver. That trim tag is super clean, factory or repro? First thing to go would be those knockoff wheels. I just don't trust them.

----If the KO's were original Kelsey-Hayes the seller would have said so, and the price reflects that. Repop's are a bit safer, but personally I like originals. Put a set of original TT-D's with GY Blue Streak's and that would really wake this C2 up, trust me!....Bill S

I've logged hundreds of miles on original KO's. Just keep the OEM lead hammer handy.

This '65 is gorgeous and the L76 is a screamer

I've got plenty of miles on real wheels as well. Provided the hubs are good and the wheels are not walloed out, they are good to go

----It's also a good idea to mark from the spinner to the cone with a black magic marker when the spinners are tight (all 4 wheels of course). A quick walk around the car and you will be OK if all 4 marks line up....Bill S

The truncated photo of the trim tag seems intentional. From the part I can see, I’m not a fan.

----You know, I've been passing by the trim tag, but it does really look to pristine. Would love to see a pic of the rail that the 2 tags are attached to. Especially the passenger right hand end as there is often some of the original color in that vicinity!....Bill S
