Default Shout out to Bill Wente

No surprise to many of you here but I wanted to give a big Thank You to Bill Wente. He brought a couple of really cool 1962 Chevrolet Dealer sales plaques that he wanted us to have and remain with the car.

Thank you very much Bill - we appreciate it and your friendship!

Is that a gold plated Beach Boys "409" 45 RPM record affixed to the plaque?

Aww shucks guys...y'all are gonna make me blush..

These '62 MY award pieces came from a dealership auction forty years ago, and I wanted to pass them on to a great legacy ownership family with a very deserving car.

It was great seeing all my like minded friends this past weekend

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Ya, Mr. Wente seems to be a good honest man from my far away view.
I’ve been trying to buy him a west coast burger 🍔 and fries 🍟 but door dash is not cooperating

I need a little help here putting faces to names.
In the attached photo I recognize Bill (holding the styrofoam purse), but not the other gentleman and Lady.

Thanks, Chris

----Chris,,,The Dykstra's whole clan is there celebrating all the swag they received at MCACN for Cousin Eddies 62 409 Impala which is gorgeous. It passed thru several hands and came home to roost several years ago. In no particular order,,,, Jake and Dave's Mom, Birdie and Jakes son, Jake, who takes after his Grandfather height wise (as well as good nature). Jake Senior, who is no longer with us, and sorely missed by so many is as close as our thoughts!....Bill S

I am the guy(Dave) in the white sweatshirt. I should of had my blue "Fine 09" shirt on at that moment!
from left to right: Jacob, Dave(dykstra), Mom, Jake Jr(RPOLS3), Bill W(67since67)
Jacob is Jake Jr's son and my nephew
Mom is Jake Jr. and Dave's Mom and Jacobs's grandma
Jake Jr. and Dave are brothers
Bill W is a fantastic ambassador of the hobby!

Clear as mud right?lol
