Yes,Monroney labels were sent to the dealerships separately,then the dealership applied the window sticker to the vehicle before selling it.So a PO Box could accompany that.
It was Illegal for a dealership to sell a vehicle before the Monroney label was applied. GM applied a different smaller label to the window of the vehicle alerting them of this. My 1970 Chevelle still has the one it was delivered with before the Monroney label was applied. |
