Default Another Reason to Attend MCACN next year 2026 !!

I updated this post, it looks like this car won't make MCACN 2025 but 2026. Ironically this car resided in Media, PA and I lived in NewtownSq.,PA the next town but had never heard of this car.

Corvette Mike highlighted the car in his latest Thundering Thursday.

Take note of how the car sits and the original Firestone Sportcar 200 tires. Look at the deluxe interior comfort weave interior. There should be a treasure trove of information discovered on this true time capsule.

what an odd duck. like locking away a beautiful woman so no one else could touch her...
As I've said before, as we continue to age out, more and more of these cars will be coming to the surface

Probably 30+ years ago, one of the many long-defunct car magazines had a story about a guy in (I think...) North Carolina who was the original owner of a 59 Impala 2 door hardtop with 348 and 3-on-the-tree. He drove the car about 25 miles and put it up on blocks, and there it stayed. It was incredibly well preserved. I've always kept an eye open for any further info about this car, but have never seen anything anywhere. It's gotta be out there still.....

----And then there's the "12 mile" red 70 LS6 Chevelle. Now, I think in the mid 20's (that's "twenty miles") but maybe a mile or two more. Even it was molested as the smog system was gone, and, of course, replaced now. I drove it from 16 miles up to twenty....Bill S

That Chevelle was beautiful, Bill. I remember the original tires on it, too.
