On one of the rear pics it looks like the rear was hit. What’s with the trunk gaps?

I’m building another 70 Monte in those same colors but it’s gonna be a convertible with white interior and white top and Astro blue and be a close twin to my other one. Jason restored this one.

The trunk must have been open. Its just in that picture l. Not like that all the time. All original sheet metal
