Looks amazing, can't wait to see it at MCACN. Hard to beat a LeMans blue COPO.

Update: Car is safely back with my painter/resto buddy - a true car artist. Grille and rear spoiler done. Front sheet metal finally going on this week. 41 days to MCACN.
I found an AC A212CW Air Filter but I am still desperately in search of a IO/CH - UZ (Big Block/T400) radiator tag - anyone know a guy? All the repos have the wrong tank letters. I'm running out of time! Here's more pics of some of the components we restored. Thanks again to everyone for their help and kind words. Almost done. Jim |

Lots of progress last week. Still need to install the cowl panel and hood and attend to a few details before MCACN.
A big thank you and shout out to LT1vette for offering me the Golden Mile key fob I have been bugging him about! Really a fantastic addition to the car! Still in search of a IO/CH - UZ (Big Block/T400) radiator tag if anybody knows someone. Thanks again to everyone for their support! Jim |

Cool news also kudos to LT1vette/Bruce for making it happen for you! I’ve always wondered about the G’Mile Mini-Skirt Pin/Buttons as pic below, topic sounds good but have you ever seen one or know the story behind them? Great updates on the car, it being at MCACN this year is yet one more great reason to go! ![]() ~ Pete .

Pete, cool button! Where do I get one? A quick Google search confirmed that this was a real campaign that started in Britain in 1969. Apparently, Golden Mile was on board.
Paul, thanks for the encouragement. I have been meaning to tell you that the Golden Mile tail pan emblem you shared with me a while back is currently out being restored/re-chromed. The last update was that it was in copper and expected back by month's end. |

I went out to the shop and looked at my CH rad to see if there was still a tag on it and unfortunately came up empty.
I'll keep looking for you. Paul |

The hood and cowl panel are finally back on the car. We also installed the original owner's Ontario vanity plate, and the original steering wheel completing the interior which is all assembly line, including the carpeting, but for the GM NOS dash pad.
A comprehensive systems check confirmed everything works except the cowl flapper which we attribute to a bad ground between the flapper solenoid and the flapper frame - on our to-do's for next week. To-do's also include rocker trim, poverty caps, adjustment of the reverse lock-out linkage, front end alignment, wiper arms, Canadian under hood decals, and my favorite, installation of the Golden Mile Ontario dealer tail pan emblem that's due back from the restorer next week. All very doable before MCACN in 29 days. This time I want to extend a big thank you to wheelhop who contacted me today about an original F7014 Goodyear spare tire for the trunk which could earn me some extra bonus points when the car gets Legends judged at MCACN. Likewise, a big thanks to Pete for the links to the Golden Mile-related items he found on Facebook. Jim |
