So this thread is 22 years old.
What I did not post (thought I had) is that I pulled the rear cover to inspect the gears and do some work and the flange where the cover would be bolted to had DH stamped into the housing. It was blocked by the cover. This prompted me to contact Mr. Hardy directly. He confirmed at the time that he had sold DH Vega rear ends and engine bracket parts to Joel / Motion Performance but that he stamped all of his rears in such fashion. He said it was a way to identify one of his rears and that it was not common knowledge. |
