Here's an image of the building at the address in Carlsbad. It looks like some overhead doors have been filled in.

There was a Clare Sanders who drove a 1969 Funny car called the Super Camaro.

Don't know if he was related

Clare Sanders established a name in driving other funny cars for "Jungle Jim," the "Chi Town Hustler," & the "Ramchargers." It was while his association with "Jungle Jim" he got nicknamed "Jungle Clare."

Another Sanders name that has an interesting background came in focus while looking into Dick Harrell's induction into the "Interernational Hall of Fame" in 2008. The biography of Chuck Sanders by his family, tells about the association he had with Dick in the SW region in the early 60's. Reading of this will be an answer of the question about the invoice's Dick was using in billing Don Yenko for his service in transplanting the 427's into the 67 Camaro's.
