| 1966-'67 Chevelle front bucket backrest springs

I'm butting my head against a stone wall with trying to obtain correct back rest springs. All I keep getting is BOP springs and they ARE NOT the same as Chevelle. Anyone have a source for the correct, longer, lower, spring set for Chevelle ??? NPD has a pic of the correct spring on their website, but that is not what I got today. It comes from OER and it looks like the spring on OER's website that they claim is for Chevelle, but it's for BOP seats.

He is, mysteriously, quiet....not like him. As for recommendations of who to contact, I have been working with Rambo, on Team Chevelle for over a week about this issue. No known sources of the correct spring as of now. If anyone else has an upholsterer/supplier that has a source, I'm all ears. I talked with NPD this morning and they are having UPS pick up the incorrect springs I got yesterday on Monday for a full refund...I hope...time will tell.

Sorry Mitch, but I am of no help here. The only seat springs I've ever needed were for a bench, and I had a spare original seat to use for parts. Guessing they are not the same as bucket. Long shot, but try Augy in Byron MN (507) two six nine-4383 Good Luck!! |
