I need an original dated ‘67/68 AC Delco fuel pump for a high horse BBC (solid lifters) to include: L78/89, L71, L72, L88. Good complete core desired as it will be sent out for cosmetic and mechanical rebuild.

1967 & 1968 took different pumps. I show a 40470 used on a 375hp with a date code of CG. Then I show 40568 used starting at least HG....Joe

Eddie. Yes, the original pumps from this era should have an AC Delco part number preceded by a date code on a flange. I didn’t post specific numbers as there are different opinions as to what the application is and when it was introduced and discontinued.

I bought this one from Jim Stubbins back around 96 or 97 as a NOS unit for a 67 Camaro L78. I’m not saying it’s correct but it worked fine.
