Car was amazing to see in person at Autorama this year. Eye candy for sure. Got to chat with Scott for a bit. Good guy.

I saw a video on youtube last week where a guy was working on a black '65 Bonnie station wagon - PHS documented 4 speed/buckets/421 Tripower HO/8 lugs. I think it was also a factory black car, but didn't have a red interior, which I think really sets this one off.

Awesome find.
Extremely rare car in a great color combination.
Powertrain = brutal HO 376HP with those cool long branch exhaust manifolds backed with a 4 speed.
Neat to see the required oil filter adapter extension to clear the manifold.

The ‘65 Big cats 3x2 used a 1966 thermostat housing to accommodate their radiator.

Sorry Jeff to be critical but you did things to this rare car that is regrettable.
1) He went right past the “car billing history card” which tells you almost everything about this car.
2) Plus the data plate / trim tag says AA = Black. This aluminum plate was masked off at the factory.
3) Smearing body sealer on the firewall, then rattle can black the entire engine bay (including the rectangle inspection stamp) is unimaginable, really!

Again, I sorry, but this super rare car wound up in the wrong hands.

This beauty will be the centerpiece of our MCACN Class of '65 Invitational display in November.

As many of you know, Mr. Tiemann's work is always over the top and this is a show-stopper. Making it even more fun is the fact that the car was originally ordered in the Chicago area!

Agree with your points - I really wanted to have a better look at the billing history card - also kind of shocked he just tossed aside the booklet in the glovebox that may have contained the POP.

He briefly sees the BHC and says …. Rigmarole, then proceeds to other less important documentation, hilarious 😆.

Here are the best screenshots I can do of the PHS.
I would like to see the page of “Special Equipment Pontiac” on this car.

This guy needs to educate himself.

I think there were more of these out there in ‘65/‘66 than I thought.
