Couple things,
The Richard Petty- Talladega pic is very early in 69. Nascar did not let Ford run the Boss 429 engine early on as not enough Mustangs had been built- sold yet. Been trying to console "OLE BLUE" as the lowly L78 did not even get honorable mention. I can see a lot of stuff on the list that would have problems against an L78. All tounge in cheek  and we will not be scrapping "OLE BLUE" anytime soon
