Default Interesting ‘67 Chevelle SS396 color combo

Madeira Maroon on Gold-and it was on the factory recommended color recommendations. My reference guide shows Gold, Black, Maroon and Red as suggested interior selections for an SS396 that year. It’s pretty striking and likely helped make this 325hp column shifted auto with A/C example sell almost immediately.

That is a striking color combo, stunning actually! My parents ordered a '67 Malibu four door in this combo.

Can't remember the last time I've seen a maroon '67 Chevelle with any interior other than black, except the maroon/red SS convert in my garage.

Why do people insist on sanding trim tags!! Fremont tags were masked off anyway.

Where was this offered for sale?

I can't say that I've ever saw this combination. My old high school colors.

They're my high school colors as well! I sent a pic to my nephews who go there now. Chuck is correct-Park Place LTD. They're a dealership that has been around for 30+ years who deal primarily with late model imports and exotics plus a building of domestic and imported classics which are mostly consignments along with some inventory the owner picks up. I've kept a personal and professional relationship with their consignment manager ever since I bought a 69 RS/Z28 from them 25 years ago when he was my salesman.

I know a guy back in IL who used to own a 67 Chevelle SS396 convertible that was Tahoe Turquoise with a gold interior....another interesting color combination.

'67 396 El Camino, Deepwater Blue with Gold interior, gorgeous combo.
In 1983 I was on a path to buy it from Steve Hendrickson of Corvette notoriety, got derailed by loss of a parent.

That's sick, I love that color combo. I'm one of those who likes different stuff, and that really ticks my boxes, thanks for sharing.

----Need to ask a question. I noticed just now that there is a Chevelle emblem on the drivers side hood edge. I had a 67 SS new and just don't remember any emblem in that location. Am I wrong???.....Bill S

As far as I know they all had it. My grandfather's did... but it had been painted at least twice by the time I was growing up
