Default The latest project

It has been a while since I posted what I have been working on. After I finished my 55 chevrolet i decided I wasn’t going to restore cars anymore. The price of everything just got out of control. Well that didn't last long. My dad and I bought a 62 impala SS hard top. Body and original interior were ok but was sitting since 1986. 327 was locked up. I did a full mechanical restoration and made a fun driver. Then I got bored and wanted to build an open wheel car. I found a 1929 chevrolet coach body that was really solid. Bought a frame from bowling brother’s and started the custom fabrication. I removed 75% of the wood and replaced it with steel. Have a 6 deuce 327 for it. Its going to be a fun Rat rod. Then in the last month a purchased a 63 corvette roadster. Bought it from the second owner. Hasnt been on the road since 1974. Numbers matching 327 4sp car sebring silver with blue interior. Car was painted maroon pre 1970 when the second owner bought it. Did I say I was done restoring cars. Lol

I plan on making all my inner panels with a bead roller. Im going to paint the frame install the motor and transmision, wire it, then run it the way you see it. Should be a fun hot rod!
