i loved them and had them on my trans am in high school. this is a picture that i drew on the back cover of one of my school books of my trans am. you can see the formula 1 super stock tires. on the last week of school my senior year we were turning in our books and i decided i would keep this picture so i said i lost the book, paid for it and then tore the back cover off of it. i still have it after 46 years.

My word, I loved those tires. I used to lust over them. I ended up with a set of GoodYear G60 tires for my 442 that I bought from Nickey after they turnd into a parts only dealership. That was '73 or '74.

Couple more I’ve hunted down.
Both that Trans Am and the Shelby GT500 must’ve been owned by the owner or employees because both those cars appear in multiple ads. I wonder where that GT500 ended up.

The black Z28 appears in two of the adds. It looks as if the rear fenders are a bit flared in the "car hop" picture.

Did these come in E60-15? Not that it matters, since I won't run 50 year old tires, but the vision I have for my car is E60s in the front, L60s in the back. If they ever repop these, I'm in trouble.

A kid who used to pick me up at the buss stop and bring me to school w a black big block yenko nova had those on his car. I bought his old rupp mini bike and after that he’d always stop and give me a ride to school he was always late going to high school. He was a “ trouble kid “ he then. Graduated to pro tracks like the rest of us.

Super gloss Black Nova , Big ass cragars jacked up to the sky, skinny’s up front , chrome side pipes , garter belt on the steering column tach. Car was so bad ass. Lots of chrome under the hood and a tunnel ram.

The Firestone 500 really started that white letter craze.

I wanna see more pictures of that vette and that firebird w the bad azz paint Now
Woody of woodys auto body in newbritain CT painted a lot of those cars he did a lot of the funny cars of the 60s one of his cars was even in a photo shoot w Stevie nicks in CT . And he painted one of Paul Newman’s cars.
I did some re work on one of his cars Newman’s also. Woody also painted my RAIV firebird.but that sank the thread this is tires.
Raised white letters are making a bit of a comeback right now oddly enough
