Beautiful '70 Chad! Let me know when you are up this way.

Chris, I should have known you'd be the one to call me out on that cover!
This car was, ahem, "restored" 25 years ago and the cover, although not rusted, had been painted black with no galvanized left underneath.

On this one it's a rear antenna coaxial only. The Maroon convert has wiring for rear speaker and power top ran through that cover.

Sorry Bill, I didn’t intend to call out anyone as I assumed that cover was originally galvanized, but I was just curious.

I really enjoy seeing your collection of Chevrolets, restored and survivors.

PS, I have a fondness for the White on Red long top.
