We had a '68 GTO, bucket seat no console column shift.

I remember riding in it as a kid and being embarrassed about that column shift.

I’m assuming that’s column shifted auto .
Stephen Pontiac had a drag car that was 4 speed RAII w a bench seat and I belive knafels light weight RAII drag car was also bench seat . So I guess if a bench seat can be performance why can’t a column shift right.
