			Hello,

Who does cast iron exhaust manifold crack repair? Hoping for an invisible repair. I have heard there are guys that can repair and the cover up. Thanks in advance! |

World leaders in cast iron repair. None better. Pioneered and patented the stitching technique (heatless repair) I took a block in there to be repaired. It wasn’t cheap and took awhile but was invisible when done. I saw a lot of exhaust manifolds in there being repaired. |

About 15 years ago Dad had one of the 409 exhaust manifolds repaired in Chicago somewhere - I will see if I can find the location....... |

Indy Cylinder Heads had an oven that they used to repair cast iron heads. They would weld the heads while in the oven at high temperature. I don't know if they still do this or not. Dale Meers Racing Engines in Buffalo KY has a guy who weld cast iron blocks for him.

There is a shop in New Jersey called Automotive Restorations. The owner is Steve Babinsky and he has cars that go out to Pebble Beach every year. I talked to him about cast iron welding a few years ago and he said you can't even buy a quality cast iron welding rod anymore. He has his own rods made up especially for him. The important thing when welding exhaust manifolds is to put them in a jig first before you start the repair process. (908) 236-6400 or [email protected]
