Can't believe it's been 44 years today Dec.8,1980.
Doesn't seem that long ago that John Lennon was assassinated.He was only 40.Seems so young now that I'm in my 70's.I wonder what would have been if he was still alive.Would they have gotten back together?The Beatles were and still are,a big part of my musical life.

I remember watching Monday night football when Howard Cosell made the announcement that John Lennon was murdered. It was a sad day for this Beatle fan.

If you have a chance, catch the Netflix special on the '68 Elvis comeback show. While it is a great watch in itself, there is a quip in it that when the Beatles went to meet Elvis at his Malibu house, they were so stunned they were in his presence, they couldn't speak. Elvis said "if you guys are not gonna say anything, I'm gonna put the TV on..' classic
