Are you able to provide dates when each emblem was used? I'd like to seek out the correct emblem for my 70 L78 Camaro. Thanks in advance!

This would be correct for your 1970 Camaro. This style was used from approx 1967 into a least mid 1970s. If you see this same emblem pictured below with mounting holes that was exclusively used on heavy duty trucks (no idea why I guess they figured two way tape for cars screws for trucks???)

Starting from the top,is your #3 emblem a duplicate of #2?

Yes, #2 and #3 emblems are identical. There are 4 different styles over the years (that I have seen) 5 if you consider the heavy duty truck style with the mount holes.

The one at the very bottom of photo showing the 5 emblems is identical to the one on the decklid of my 69 malibu 16k mile survivor so that should indicate what was correct at the time
