This would be correct for your 1970 Camaro. This style was used from approx 1967 into a least mid 1970s. If you see this same emblem pictured below with mounting holes that was exclusively used on heavy duty trucks (no idea why I guess they figured two way tape for cars screws for trucks???)

Yes, #2 and #3 emblems are identical. There are 4 different styles over the years (that I have seen) 5 if you consider the heavy duty truck style with the mount holes.

The one at the very bottom of photo showing the 5 emblems is identical to the one on the decklid of my 69 malibu 16k mile survivor so that should indicate what was correct at the time
