| 1973 Yenko Nova

First time post here. I've come across what appears to be a 73 Yenko. The VIN 1Y17HH3L164253 decodes to 73, Nova Custom, with a 350 2v V8, made in Van Nuys. It's in very rough condition--body damage in the rear and front, missing insignia, body rust etc. Q1: Does the "Nova Custom" in the VIN confirm that this is an actual Yenko car rather than a tribute? Q2: Given the condition, what is the potential value range if restored? In other words, what would be a reasonable price as it is, given the cost of a decent restoration? I'm not a collector per se, more just an enthusiast. |

Welcome to the site. I don't think there were any 73 Yenko Nova's built. Someone probably added the decals.

Welcome, the "Custom" was just a model that provided an upgraded trim level.
