Default Tires for XT wheels

I’ve got a set of 69 XT wheels I put on my 67 car from time to time and it’s time to buy new tires. What Coker Classic radial would match up to the XT’s? Not interested in a 67 style tire but a 69 style. I’m kinda thinking a raised white letter. I will have 67 dog dish caps on the wheels.
Any ideas please?

Agree 100%

That said, I have one original XT rim/wheel (spare with tire) that came with my car. Have the dog dish hubcaps and would love to get a full set of XT rims to put back on the car. They are extremely hard to come by

^ yes, they are crazy hard to come by. Even more so if you’re interested in dates.

It took me years to replace my factory XTs.

And more still to build another set:

I agree, several people here on the site has asked if I want to sell them. I don’t know the dates of any of them and don’t care.
I paid Jim Stubbins 140 bucks each for them back in 1998.

If a guy is wanting the XT wheel look.. but not the XT wheel expense. A 69-72 Grand Prix 14x7 standard steel wheel has the same look... but not the code.

Wasn't the 1969-72 Grand Prix rim a 14X6,as opposed to the 14X7 XT rim?
