Default '67 GTO Convertible Storage Find, 400/4-sp

Neat car stored since the mid 1980s. Hideous interior, possibly the worst I've seen, but fixable.

Interesting that this car was ordered with the 'quick' 20:1 steering gear.

Ad notes Interior a late 70’s addition but pattern style similar to GM’s in house ‘67 Mod craze although looking deeper, all appears nothing other than detailed workmanship of a bygone era...

It would be interesting if it is an old Pontiac show car as the interior reminds me of the '66/'67 Fairlane show car at MCACN in 2019. Same kind of bowling alley material but the Goat has a zany pattern and the Fairlane has metal circles.

I bought this car. I just received it today from the transport company. It needs a ton of work but a 67 GTO convertible 4 speed is a dream car for me. Hoping to get it driving this year if possible. Big project and I hope im up to the task :-)
