well, he's a dealer/flipper so the asking price is jacked up. It is a rare find in this condition these days. Considering it needs $40,000 thrown at it to restore to a decent level $60-$65,000 might be a good buy.

Transmission is a restamp. As Danzo says, too early for C suffix which was a running change in late calendar year 1968. The POP doesn’t have a C on the transmission code. The partial VIN stamp on the transmission doesn’t match the pad stamp, easiest difference to spot is the numerals 1 and 4 which are entirely different fonts.

A good correction. Per CRG, the suffix wasn’t put on the POP after Muncie instituted the A, B, and C suffix for M20/M21/M22 production in Oct ‘68. I got too excited debunking the bad stamp
