----When I 1st got Red Alert I found that Bob Hamilton had mounted a fuel pressure guage to the hood with screws in the black stripe. Thought about it for a bit and decided it had to go and filled the holes in and spotted the paint. Then I took a piece of flat stock and bent it to mount on the cowl under the hood. It went towards the windshield and then wrapped around the hood. Guage was mounted on top and everything cleared. It's still that way today!....Bill S

My 'ol Red Hot-Rod, including the transmitter still attached to the holes I drilled in November 1967.
I've never seen another Sun tach with this style face, IIRC it was related to a movie titled "REDLINE 7000"?? Back then the 2nd design L88 easily buzzed into that 7K red zone. ![]() Last edited by 67since67; 03-30-2024 at 05:31 PM. |
