Yes, some of the super cars do have a convoluted starting procedure, but so do some of the “home built” pro mods and modified cars.

Some of the super cars with manual transmissions have an auto accelerate feature. Under normal driving conditions, just let the clutch out and the computer will accelerate for you.

Stock vehicles are usually the best for me to tolerate. I know how to operate almost any stock vehicle. Quality builds such as Kindig’s builds are also a pleasure because EVERYTHING is designed to make ownership a pleasure. No weird starting procedure on his builds, no stupid method to open hoods, trunks, and doors.

My favorite cars? Any car that starts, runs, will cruise at 25 MPH or less, stops, and does not have a roll bar to climb over would be a favorite. At a bare minimum, we start and shut down a car six times (Monday and Tuesday cars). We may start and shut down a car 24 times on busier days.

Sorry I rambled on, I’m tired.
