This photo was snapped at a celebrity-filled charity gala called "A Shakespeare Cabaret" during a "Free Shakespeare" Festival at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on August 19,1973.
Alice performed "Gutter Cat vs. The Jets/Streetfight" (from the "School's Out" album) that night.
Jean Stapleton's outfit is actually a "chorus girl" costume that she wore as part of the show.
......The public relations firm that represents Alice Cooper,confirmed that this photograph was real and was taken during the cabaret in 1973.
