Sad to hear. We dodged a bullet most recently with Milan Dragway which is closest to Detroit and most surrounding suburbs. The previous ownership had taken a loan from reality TV pawn shop owner Les Gold and defaulted. I think other circumstances led to them getting in money trouble as well. The property went up for auction and was saved by the new owner who’s made many improvements so far.

I heard this yesterday while I was at the chassis shop that is building my new street car. what a shame. another drag strip with alot of History is gone.

I used to race my 66 Mustang coupe there on Friday nights. Dang. What a shame. My childhood is fading! I’ll have gray hair next….oh wait..
