.....in 1/4 scale!
![]() ![]() These were 1/4 models made by Saleen and scanned off the real body so they're 100% true to form on the first series of Ford GTs. These were destined to be coffee tables and painted in the customer's color to match their car. The molds were crushed and only about 20(I think) of these were made. The bodies Gordon had were the last two and this was the last raw one left in existence. Of course, not knowing what I'd do with it, I had to have it. I had just enough room for that in the back of the uhaul after loading up the 250 GTO body. So what do I do with it. Any thoughts? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Anyway, a neat automotive thing that I have no clue what I'll do with but neat to think about! Cheers Dave |

Light weight go-cart chassis and a harness for the horses to pull Kelly around the yard...

A Go-cart is a good idea but I think I would turn it into a Golf-cart or a cart that you can use to go around looking at other cars during a carshow.

----I'm in for the half model (done by Super Dave of course). Gulf colors will do nicely. Have a great spot for it in the cave!

Hmmm…I’m not sure a golf cart style thing. It would ruin the lines since the roof is a major aesthetic attribute of the GT. Though that would be pretty slick. Nah. But I love the Heritage colors for sure!

Exactly what I was thinking Dave. I would find a way to use it without hacking off the roof.

I say just make a 1/4 scale working replica of the real thing. You've passed the test on the 1:1 scale model with the 507+, now try the the miniature version. Like this DB5
