For those who lived it and can remember, what was it like seeing the all-new 1970 Camaro, seeing how different it was from the 1969 model? Did it take a while for the new body style to take off, or was it an instant hit in your eyes?

I have to say that if I were realistically buying a new 1969 Camaro, that is pretty close to exactly what I would have ordered. That's nearly perfect.

The move to "European styling" was a major disappointment and let down from Chevrolet. GM couldn't have given me one at the time and they still don't resonate Muscle car with me. Coming of age in the 60's with all the wild cars being offered, the new Camaro just didn't look the part.

My dad had one of these back in the mid seventies down here in New Zealand, it was a bright green with a white interior.
It was a really nice car, and it went well, too. |

My wife grew up in Houston and she had a summer pass to Astroworld growing up. She said that ZZ Top played there a bunch at night and she saw them about 50 times. We've seen them at ACL quite a few times over the years.

This guy is good.
I would have to wear some gloves though. Can't imagine what it would be like trying to get your hands clean. Darn. Forgot to ad the link.
