As mentioned in the thread I started for Bill Wente's 67, our car received the NCRS 4 star Bowtie Preservation award. Tracey (and others) are on me to take a trip out to the Ontario NCRS Regional at the end of September. That would afford the opportunity to get a Performance Verification (1st try) as well a check the box for a Bowtie display. I need to display the car at 2 Chapter meets, and 2 Regionals in order to qualify the 5th Star.
I must say, the idea of getting the 5th Star for the Bowtie award, and the opportunity to get a Duntov award at next years National event, has an distinct appeal. We're headed to MCACN this year to contend for a Triple Diamond, and spin the car through Vintage Certification. If everything goes to plan, the car will have received most every award it can achieve (in the Corvette hobby).
