#219 This LeMans Blue 69 Yenko Camaro was sold new at Francis Chevrolet in Brighton MO. This car has been for sale several times on the Legendary Motorcar website. It's also on their site under Restorations so I assume they restored it as well. As you can see from the trim tag it is an X44 car with the X11 trim added. It also has a black tail panel which is only correct for the first 50 X66 cars. It doesn't have its original engine but someone posted on here several years ago that they had it or knew where it was. This car hammered for $265K at Mecum Indy.

Would headers been correct on a Yenko Camaro? Were they an option or day 2 add-on?

Headers, scatter shields, traction bars and Atlas mags among other things were optional on 69 Yenko Camaros as dealer add-ons. From what I've heard Yenko's mechanics would do whatever modifications the customer wanted. I know some cars had the modifications done before they left the lot and others were brought back in for Day 2 mods.
