One day in 1949 a petite young lady showed up at MG dealership in this Duesenberg sitting on a booster seat in order to drive , traded in for a more practical MG TC . This car sold in 2011 for 10.34 million . George Whittell Jr. purchased this car new , was said to be his pet lion Bill’s favorite car to ride in .

The Brass Era is an American term for the early period of automotive manufacturing, named for the prominent brass fittings used during this time for such features as lights and radiators. 4 speed 289. The dealer is asking $30 grand. IMO a little high. Maybe between $22K and $25K? Not sure I like the matte finish.
