Anyone know if there is a source for these hood locks ? I put a set on my '70 SS Chevelle after people stole my battery and tried to get the carb too in 1974. I thought the hood looked cleaner with these than the pins...

I've got a set of them somewhere. I was going to use them on my hood, but then I didn't trust them to keep it closed and went with pins.

If you happen to find them, Freddie, I'd be interested buying them, if you want to sell.

That’s got to be an old hood I dont think moroso has been in a Greenwich Cf in a long long time, they are in north haven or Branford or something

The typical set up was a pan that went under the carbs w a seal to the hood around it

If those don’t work out for you call bill foss at driving image in Unionville CT , he’s been in the aftermarket parts business forever. He used to run a PCA years ago in the 80s he’ll know who made them and if they still do.

I did pick up a vintage scoop, I'll eventually work with Glasstek to fab up a bolt-on hood for my car.
