| Stencil Kits

We’re getting closer to paint on the 67 Z. Does anyone have a recommendation on a stencil kit for the stripes? Thanks Paul |

Like Joe, I would recommend Stencils & Stripes in Illinois. I bought their kit for my 69 Z/28 and it was identical to all the original tracings I took from the car's original paint marks. Excellent templates in my opinion. https://www.stencilsandstripes.com/p.../model/camaro/

This is about three weeks ago. They since primed again and final sanding prior to going back on the rotisserie.

That is who I used for the stencil kit on my 69 Z, and like Norcam said, it was dead on.

The '67-'68 is obviously a little different in the back compared to a '69. I had a Stencils & Stripes kit and found I had to fudge around a little to get it to look accurate and how I wanted it. I did have an original paint '67 Z trunk lid to help get the spacing right. I mounted that lid and masked the filler panel below the rear window and then mounted the lid I was going to use. I then masked that lid following what was above. The original stripes are slightly narrower at the back edge than up toward the window if I remember correctly.
