It is a cool car. Looks like a 283 call out on the fender.

Wish you had posted this before the auction ended. NY is a long haul but I may have taken a run at it for what it sold for.
I would attempt to save the roof. With 6-7 porta powers, patience and a heat gun, I believe about 90% of that would come back. I don't see but a few creases deep enough to stretch. Paintless dent removal to the extreme... Yes, it would need final filler and paint, but so would a replacement.
I'm, also, going to put, at least, a 50% chance that this will be back up for sale shortly with some improper and crude roof repair and a few other "improvements" for about 20k...

Sorry! I was out at a car show all day Saturday, and then out to dinner with our friends from out of town. Didn't get home in time to post any earlier. Maybe click on the bid history and see if that site allows direct messaging to the winning bidder?

Ad text says second owner (the seller) changed the emblem to match the engine he ran in it. The older magazine pic (without the hood scoop) is too fuzzy to read the emblem when zoomed in.
