I respectfully disagree based on my personal experience, especially with German cars. And, believe it or not, there is still some German technology in the higher end Chrysler products; guessing left over from the merger/divorce. I have successfully gone to "white dust" type pads using the same rotors on several different cars. Pagids are the worst, but not exclusive, offender.
