Pretty cool to see a '68 Z in an unrestored, worn-out-driver state. Would take some scrounging to undo the parts-store junk that has been added to it over time, but it looks like a great project assuming the price isn't stratospheric.
Interesting engine stamp with the 'M' obscured. I have to believe it's original, given the look of the rest of the car. Link to 1968 Camaro Z/28 auction 124378N401026 |

Thats the place that has had a run of muscle cars. I called about the 70 yellow z they had and got a bad feeling of they were hiding stuff or just clueless.
That block is stamped the same day as the one in my 69. My dads birthday
